5 CARD CHARLIE

BLACKJACK TERMS DICTIONARY

5 CARD CHARLIE

In the game of Blackjack, the term "5 card charlie" can be an option in the favor of the blackjack player instead of the casino.  In this case, the player would win if they have 5 cards on the table for a single hand and yet have not busted.  If the dealer is playing 5 card charlie, then the player would automatically win.  Note that there is also a 6 card charlie and a 7 card charlie.

Since this option is in favor of the player, and it is very favorable to the player, not many casinos play this option at this time.  However, this option is available on the rpsoft 2000 blackjack game described below - along with many other blackjack game options.

Blackjack book   Book: The Complete Blackjack Survival Kit (click for info)
eBook Available from Google Play, Amazon Kindle, Barnes and Noble Nook

Does this book tell you how to win? No. It does tell you how you might get the odds in your favor, and gives some strategy tables for some of the more common blackjack games played in casinos. It also tries to explain using math and simulations why getting the odds in your favor may indeed improve your play, but why no one we know of can guarantee winning all of the time.
