| FRET BOARD A Fret Board is the board (often wood) below the strings of a stringed instrument. In particular it does refer to the only the area of those strings where the strings can be held down by the fingers of a musician in order to provide different notes or chords. In fact, the image below shows an invisible capo in use - or also how to finger a bar chord at that point. |
